Pamoja Visits Tigania West, January 2017

Our founder, Terry Kiruja, visited Tigania West, the location of our first project this past winter. She met with the chief, assistant chief, and other local leaders in the community who understand and have supported Pamoja’s mission from the very beginning. She also toured the plot of land donated by the local government for the community library but most important she spent time with the local children and youth who will be beneficiaries of the library. Pamoja donated school supplies to about 60 students who were eager and excited about opportunities the library will bring them. They said they cannot wait for it to open and promised to put it into good use.
