Books For Africa Donation – 2019

In December 2019, The Pamoja Community Library was a proud recipient of 8,000 books donated by Books For Africa (BFA). Louis Brownstone, a partner with BFA and a champion for literacy in Africa, selected Pamoja Library as one of the beneficiaries for his second book-donation mission to the continent. Now equipped with over 10,000 books, this community library continues to serve the Tigania West area with many more diverse reading options for our patrons. It has also helped us initiate a new literacy program that allows us to loan books to schools that cannot easily access our facility. We are thankful to Books For Africa and Louis Brownstone for believing in our vision and helping us inch a step closer to it!
